“ASTROS DE LA GAITA: After the success obtained in 2014 with the musical work ‘Papita, Maní, Tostón’, a tribute to the Venezuelan baseball passion, the continuity in the international arena gave way to the birth of Astros de la Gaita under the label of Sound Round Productions Inc. Starting in 2022. This small musical band that is part of the project is destined to offer its local services in the city of Houston, Texas and its surroundings. The objective of this brand is to offer its services for small events, parties and private and family gatherings in tribute to the Houston Astros baseball team and our professional baseball players who leave Venezuela high with the sport. Baseball is part of the Venezuelan culture and for this reason we have created the brand Astros de la Gaita, formed by half of the members of Team Gaitero as a professional group in the musical genre Gaita. Astros will be a local folk group; Astros de la Gaita was created with the purpose of bringing the joy of Gaita music to the corners of the community with more limited resources and customers with more limited resources, offering live gaitas for private events and smaller spaces at a more economical and accessible price

Astros de la Gaita, the local musical band that will cause a sensation in Houston, Texas, has announced its arrival with an innovative approach to bring bagpipe music to a segmented audience of lesser resources. The idea was born in 2014, with the musical piece “PAPITA, MANI, TOSTON. Authored and composed by Javier Agostini and Luis Eduardo Bracho, performed by Deyvins Marquez, with the purpose of international projection and to give access to the Venezuelan and Latino community in Houston and its surroundings. The brand is created from 2022 under the label of Sound Round Productions Inc. Astros de la Gaita arises as an extension of the success previously experienced with the musical “Papita, Maní, Tostón” in 2014, a tribute to the Venezuelan baseball passion.
